Zenith Birla (India) Limited is a Multifunctional Organisation having a turnover of US$.100 million per year, manufacturing a wide range of products like Steel Pipes, Dyestuff Inter-Mediates, Synthetic Textile Yarns and Steel Cutting Tools. Zenith which was incorporated in 1960 belongs to the House of Birla''s which is among the largest Industrial House in the Private Sector of India. The company started with manufacturing Steel Pipes and soon after in 1964, pioneered the Industry''s Export endeavours. Zenith has been repeatedly honoured by number of merit awards for Excellence in Export from Government of India for it''s outstanding Export performance & has been accredited as A Goverment of India recognised Export House. Zenith Galvanised Steel Pipes commands key position amongst most popular brands in the world. The Customer segment includes users of Steel Pipes for carrying Water and Gas; for Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Submersible Pumps (even cut to 3 meter lengths); and also for Bore well, Casing Pipes, Scaffoldings, Conveyor Idlers, Structural Tubes (Tubular, Square & Rectangular Pipes), Drill Rod Pipes etc. Used in the fields such as Agriculture and Irrigation. The customers segment also extends to various Industrial Sectors such as Automobiles (Including Chassis manufacturing ), Housing, Furniture, Structurals, Container Making, Railway Electrification, Electric Poles, Telecommunication, Power Stations, Handling Equipments, Electrostatic Precipitators etc. Square and Rectangular Hollow Sections manufactured by Zenith are widely used to replace conventional sections of higher weight such as beams, angles and channels. These sections have higher load-bearing capacity at lower costs and have better aesthetic appeal in many cases. Zenith has an installed annual manufacturing capacity of 1,20,000 MT of pipes, in range of 1/2 to 10 in diameter covered under different IS standards viz IS:3589, IS:9295 and IS:4923, IS:1978, IS1161. Pipes in various international specifications eg. BS 1387, ASTM A53, ASTM A500 for Square & Rectangular Hollows, BS 1139, BS 879, BS 6363 and BS 1775 for Structural Tubes are in regular production due to heavy & continuous Export demand. Zenith also manufactures pipes as per DIN, ASTM, GOST and BIS specifications and also those equivalent to API 5L Grade specifications.
